Flowers and more nature

So, you can tell I like to take pictures of flowers. We live near a botanic gardens and I love to go there and wonder around taking pictures of everything. There is so much to see, even if I just go to a nursery to find plants.

Animals

I have a passion for animals. I always have, and always will. I grew up around dogs, and showed dogs with my mom for several years. I have worked in a few vet offices, as well as a keeper at the Santa Barbara Zoo. I also have a degree in Biology. I enjoy finding creatures around our house and in travels to take pictures of.

Color Pop

As you will see, this is one of my favorite things to do with some of my pictures. I saw a poster in a salon once a few years ago, it was a little girl with a ball and everything was black and white except the ball. It just stuck with me, and when I started playing with actions on my Photoshop Elements, I had to try it. I must say it is addicting, especially with flowers.
